# How can I identify the peaks around me on Whympr?

You can identify peaks around you on your mountain outing using **Peak Viewer**, Whympr's augmented reality tool. This feature lets you **recognize mountain peaks in real-time** during your route.

**To access it:**

* Go to the map.
* Tap the button on the right, showing two mountains with a frame.
* Point your phone at the mountain (as if taking a photo), and voilà, the names and altitudes will appear automatically. Magic!
