What's in Whympr ?
Tim MacLean, the co-founder of Whympr, presents the app in 6 minutes:
The feed displays recent outings shared by other users.
You'll also find weather forecasts and avalanche bulletins (if available) for your current location and any pre-saved locations.
This page lets you explore the different available maps and filter them by activity.
You can spot Points of Interest (small blue squares), which are often linked to routes.
To access professional topos, simply click on the “pro topos only” button.
Descriptions of Points of Interest and routes come from various sources such as C2C, Skitour, and tourist offices.
This button allows you to:
Create a track,
Save a route,
Log an outing,
Import a GPX file.
This is where you can purchase pro topos, maps, and subscriptions.
Your profile acts as your logbook, where you’ll find:
All the outings you've created,
The routes you've saved,
A list of people you follow.
This is also where you'll find the app settings.
