Importing and exporting GPX files on Whympr

Whympr lets you easily import and export GPX files to plan your rides, share your routes, or use them in other apps.


Importing a GPX:


To import a track from the app:
  1. Open the Whympr app
  2. Tap Add
  3. Select “Import a track



To import a track from a third-party app (email, WhatsApp, etc.):
  1. Tap the attachment/GPX file to open it.
  2. Your device will offer to open the file with Whympr; select it.
  3. The track will be imported into your Profile tab


Export a GPX:


  1. Go to the Whympr app
  2. Select the track of your choice (from the shared wall or from your own tracks)
  3. Click “Export track/GPX”




To import multiple GPX files at once:


1 - Go to the dedicated link: Click the link below to access the import interface.


Links based on your language:

In English: https://api.whympr.com/web/?lang=en

In French: https://api.whympr.com/web/?lang=fr

In Italian: https://api.whympr.com/web/?lang=it

In German: https://api.whympr.com/web/?lang=de


2 - Log in to your Whympr account with your email address and password (the one you use on the app)


3 - Upload your GPX files: Once on the page, import your GPX files


4 - That’s it!: Once validated, your files are automatically synced with your Whympr account. You’ll be able to find all your tracks directly in the app.


You can import batches of up to 200 routes and choose whether they should be public or private.
